Desk

Apparently, a normal computer screen is not good enough for my husband. He decided that he needed to hook up his computer to the 40" HDTV in the living room. So of course, that means that he had to attach a desk to the front of the living room entertainment center. He brought out his computer chair, and viola! A desk in possibly the most inconvenient space in the house.

Zebra

My husband decided that he wanted a pet name for me. One day, out of the blue, he called me "Zebra". After I finished laughing at him, (he was so serious) I asked him why "zebra"? He said he likes zebras. And that he thought that I might get mad if he called me "Elephant".

Bacon

For the past 3 days, my husband has had random cravings for bacon. Just bacon, by itself.

Apparently, I have been eating too much of his bacon the last few nights, so I was allotted only 2 pieces. And he separated them on personalized paper plates, so I couldn't eat his.

Laptop

My husband is buying a new laptop, because the other one has not been found since he left it on the top of a vehicle and drove away. He has been researching for over a month. He does this with every new electronic he buys.

The one he picked out comes in different colors. He picked brown. Before we got married, his entire room was tan. He had tan walls, tan carpet, tan bath towels, tan sheets, tan pillows, tan shelves. It was like being in the desert. Who actually LIKES the color tan or brown?

He originally wanted pink. He has this theory that pink things don't get stolen. His basis for this theory is that his black camera got stolen, but his pink one hasn't. So it must be because of the color.

The Garage

My husband likes to do "man projects". I noticed that he's been spending a lot of time in the garage recently. I mentioned it, and he said he was building shelves. I'm thinking like a bookcase or something. I finally walked out there and saw this:

I would like to add that we rent this condo. I'm sure the owners are going to LOVE that he bolted and screwed and nailed about 100 lbs of lumber to their garage walls and ceiling. He thought if he painted it white, they might not notice.

Currently, the contents of our garage (minus my car), are sitting in the laundry room. Hence, my husband is now wearing the same thing to work that he sleeps in the night before.
